Mission Pillar Leadership & Committee Development (MPLCD)

Mission Pillar Leadership and Committee Development (MPLCD) is a strategic discipleship and leadership programme under IcFEM that strengthens Christ-centered holistic community transformation through servant leadership, mentorship, and coordinated community action. The programme equips pillar leaders, committees, and fellowship members within Local Transformation Units (LTUs) to effectively plan, implement, monitor, and sustain transformation initiatives rooted in biblical values and community participation.

MPLCD serves as the leadership and accountability backbone of IcFEM’s transformation work by connecting spiritual formation with practical community impact. Through structured induction, coaching, mentorship, and leadership development, the programme nurtures leaders who demonstrate integrity, accountability, Christ-like character, and a commitment to sustainable transformation.
A major component of the programme is Village Discipleship School (VDS), which strengthens discipleship, biblical worldview transformation, and leadership capacity among fellowship members and community leaders. Through VDS, leaders and members are equipped with spiritual, social, and practical skills that empower them to actively participate in evangelism, community development, mercy and justice initiatives, economic resilience, education support, and environmental stewardship.
MPLCD also promotes community participation, advocacy, monitoring and evaluation, and leadership coaching to ensure that transformation interventions remain effective, evidence-based, and sustainable. By empowering transformed disciples to become servant leaders, the programme continues to strengthen fellowships and LTUs as centres of spiritual growth, leadership development, and holistic community transformation across the communities served by IcFEM.
