IcFEM /DMH & PHOs, CHAs, CHOs Sensitization Meeting
IcFEM Mission recently held a sensitization meeting with Public Health Officers, Community Health Officers, and Community Health Assistants from Kimilili, Mt. Elgon, Bungoma East, and Tongaren sub-counties. The session introduced the BELIEVE Project, highlighting its focus on inclusive eye health, community empowerment, and the role of local health teams in strengthening referral systems and improving early access to services.
Led by IcFEM, in partnership with CBM Global and CBM UK, the BELIEVE Project is committed to making eye care more accessible and inclusive across Bungoma County.


IcFEM /DMH & Local Transformation Units (LTUs) sensitization Meeting
IcFEM recently conducted a Support Training session for 55 Chaplains, LTU Health Coordinators, and Primary Health Coordinators from Siboti, Kamukuywa, Kibingei, Namwela, Kimilili, and Maeni. The training covered key areas including inclusive eye health promotion, capacity building for health outreach, and awareness of services at IcFEM Dreamland Mission Hospital (DMH).
Our Local Transformation Units (LTUs) play a vital role in community-based healthcare, and this training strengthens their ability to deliver impactful, grassroots health services across Bungoma County.






IcFEM/ DMH & Traditional Birth Attendants (TBAs) sensitization Meeting
IcFEM Dreamland Mission Hospital held a collaborative meeting with Traditional Birth Attendants (TBAs) to strengthen partnerships for safer maternal care. The focus was on improving referrals, enhancing support for expectant mothers, and ensuring safer deliveries. The hospital appreciates the TBAs’ vital role and looks forward to continued collaboration in promoting safe motherhood.
